You may spend from this pool as a free automatic action to have line of sight to anywhere aboard the ship you are on for purposes of targeting with a Psionic ability or to get scans for your ship. To get scans (see page 140), you must make a Psionics skill check. Scans go on your Science Bay. Ignore Used markers. This does not generate Used markers. You need not be at a battlestation.
